Anzelle started her medical career by studying Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics in Pretoria where she graduated cum laude. In George she was appointed Clinic Coordinator where she mainly focused on rehabilitating and manufacturing aids for post-polio, mastectomy patients, below-knee prosthetics and child orthotics in more disadvantaged communities.

Her growing interest in the holistic aspect of healing and treating patients encouraged her to study Reflexology, Holistic Massage, Nutrition and Kinesiology.

In 2006 Anzelle decided to leave South Africa to work abroad and inspire patients across 6 continents. During this time she experienced the healing effects of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and enrolled at the Mebo TCM Training Centre in Beijing where she completed 3 years of studies through online tutoring. She completed her training at the Wangjing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Beijing and did her internship program at the Shanghai Integrated Hospital. Anzelle completed her Doctor’s degree at the IBAM Institute.

Anzelle’s love for Cape Town and passion to start her own wellness centre brought her back in 2014 where she now opened Cape Acupuncture.

Her passion is Facial Enhancement Acupuncture and Weight Loss and she hopes to encourage many patients to follow a healthy lifestyle. She would like to focus on educating the community and integrate Western and Eastern philosophy of healing and wellbeing.

In 2016 she relocated to Knysna with her family to continue her passion and love for acupuncture, health and wellness.
